Top coats

Organic and inorganic coatings can be applied to electroplated surfaces, optionally onto a conversion layer, to further increase corrosion protection or to change the friction coefficient. Those top layers, which are mainly applied by dipping, can also lead to a uniform colour stability (especially black top layers) by adding functional pigments.
